Community is not a finite resource: It's not pie! There isn’t a limited number of seats at the table where if single and childfree women pull up chairs, mothers suddenly have to stand. The narrative that: if someone else is supported, you are somehow diminished, is scarcity thinking. And scarcity thinking is one of the patriarchy’s favorite control tactics.

Making sure single and childfree women have a space for them to safely exist, doesn't take away from moms having a group for themselves. Safety and support isn't pie, babe. There's a place for EVERYONE!
If someone else building a community makes you feel threatened, pause and ask who taught you that empowerment is zero-sum. Because the real power move isn’t fighting for a bigger slice. It’s realizing we can bake as many pies as we want.
