Taking the summer off was so very needed for my own peace of mind and as a side note: make sure you always take time for yourself. Lots of extremes this summer: a major devastating loss, learning about friendships, jumping back into the dating pool, and figuring out how to be 43 and enter menopause like a goddamned champ.
